When speaking with casting directors, we've been told that the BEST way to meet them - is to audition for them! There are casting calls all the time. PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE. It's a numbers game. Submit! Submit! Submit! Here's a list of great places to find auditions, with some notes on each:

You wouldn't know it by looking at it, but 'Actors Access' is the #1 most professional of all the casting sites. It's truly where the casting directors go - especially for anything filmed (film, tv, ads, etc). At the time of this writing, $68/year.
